What is the community ambassador program?
The Sneinton Community CIC Community Ambassador Program empowers residents of all ages to lead and shape a vibrant local community.
We foster inclusivity by providing tailored activities for four age groups:
11-18, 18-25, 25-65, and 65+.
Youth Ambassadors develop leadership skills through activities like social media content creation and youth forums. Young Adult Ambassadors focus on civic engagement and skill-sharing workshops.
Adult Ambassadors leverage professional skills for project management and fundraising. Senior Ambassadors share their invaluable lived experience through oral history and mentoring.
Each group can directly influence the program through regular meetings, suggestion boxes, and "Pitch Your Project" sessions. This community-led approach ensures the program remains responsive to local needs, building a stronger, more connected Sneinton for everyone.
